No audio when playing videos
It's been two months since I ran Cinelerra-GG. I downloaded its newest version yesterday. At the moment, I can play and preview my video in the Compositor or Viewer window. However, I can't hear the audio. I tried and failed to build Cinelerra-GG. Here's the information about my desktop computer: chabulhwi@desktop.semmalgil.com ------------------------------- OS: Slackware 15.0 x86_64 (post 15.0 -current) x86_64 Host: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. ah, Slackware user ;) Do you have pulseaudio/pipewire running? I think Andrea ran into some problems with pipewire not sounding at first try on Arch? Also, what kind of build error you have? Host: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. B360M MORTAR (MS-7B23)

Yes, I've enabled PulseAudio/PipeWire. I also followed the guide "Setting up Jack Audio in Slackware"[0] to use Jack on my Linux machine.
Also, what kind of build error you have?
I'll attach the log file to this email. [0] https://alien.slackbook.org/blog/setting-up-jack-audio-in-slackware/
Just to make sure that the appimages were not corrupted, I checked both CinGG-20240930-x86_64.AppImage and CinGG-20240930-x86_64-older_distros.AppImage to make sure they played audio. They did. On Wed, Oct 23, 2024 at 11:32 AM Bulhwi Cha via Cin < cin@lists.cinelerra-gg.org> wrote:
