There is no risk of the PDF version going missing, as the manual is written in Latex and the only possible output is PDF. Conversion to HTML is very delicate and is made possible by the patches that Georgy sent to the developer of “latex2html.”
The HTML manual is useful in the mailing list and forum to link users to the specific section they are looking for. But its main function is to provide context help for CinGG, also developed by Georgy.
